i've done this on my nano for more consistent co2
couple of tips
change different bottles on different days, e.g. have a tues, thurs and sat bottle...that way the peaks and troughs of production from each bottle will cancel each other out
make sure you always use the same quantities of yeast...
would agree that those phisphates will be used up in a heavily planted tank
RO units work of high tap pressure - if you want to use it then you will need a pump as well
funny, was just thinking the same
here's a link to their website
http://www.whalepumps.com/caravan_RV/pr ... st/16/134/
can you let us know when you get the pump how it goes?
What I did, step by step:
emptied an old internal filter of all the foam media
made a hole in the basket for an airline (i just pushed the plastic bars through)
put a glass / ceramic diffuser in the basket and connected up to my co2 supply
put bio media (any type will do) on top of the diffuser...
if you don't have the type of tap in this article:
http://www.aquariumlife.net/projects/di ... ols/73.asp
and have two distinct hot and cold taps without screw fittings, then how do you link it up?
i'm interested in fiiting one of these as i'm about to do it today!
i bought a Vectron UV15 second hand, bulb was fitted 2 months ago i'm told
it doesn't have any cips or anything so have bought two hose clips to tighten to the fittings
any advice on setting this up?
