    New tank. Some plants suddenly not doing well. What am I doing wrong??

    Hello, I set up a high tech, it's been planted for 3 weeks now. I'm running CO2 (about 0.7ph drop), tropica fertilising substrate and tropica soil on-top. Lights are Chihiros WRGB2 Slim. Ammonia/nitrites/nitrates: 0/0/5 Temp: 23C Kh 4 gh4 Tds 175 Started using TNC ferts last week...

    Brown algae/light period advice ?

    Hi, After reading on the forums about light periods i decided to shorten my light period to 8 hrs a day from 10 and after everything looking ok now on the second week i have started to notice brown spotty/dusty algae on the tips of older leaves!!! Oh no!....should i just increase the light...

    What algae is this?

    Hi all, I've recently set up my Dennerle 20L nanocube, 10 days later I'm finding clumps of brown sludge clinging to the plants and wood. The lights are currently on for 8 hours a day and I'm currently injecting co2. Does anyone have any idea what kind of algae this is and what is causing it...
