I have a 5 gallon tank which will be low tech. No CO2 and a clip on led light. I’m not sure how bright it will be but probably low to keep algae away. I have a dimmer that so I can adjust the brightness.

I planted Staurogyne repens in my new 90 litre low tech tank three weeks ago:
Plain fine gravel
Grobeam 600 photoperiod 10 hours
Other plants in the tank (Echinodorus, Saggitaria) are growing away well, but the S. repens doesn't seem to have moved...

This is going to be my first proper attempt at an 'aqua scape '. My previous set ups mainly consisted of low light plants which looked like a mess so want something with a little bit more work.
I am planning to plant a DSM 2 weeks today but there's a few things I need to query etc.
