Hi folks,
I wanted to start a journal given i've just spend a decent amount of cash on a fully new setup... the first one i've ever been able to do without being on a serious budget. You may have seen my threads asking for advice previously, so here goes....
Tank: Juwel Rio 240 in Grey (Filter Removed)
Filter: Oase Biomaster Thermo 850
Light: Juwel HeliaLux Spectrum LED Light with Wifi Controller
CO2: Pressurised with CO2Art inline diffuser
Hardscape: Redmoor Wood & mini Landscape Rock
Water: 75% RO / 25% Tap
Ferts: DIY Tropica Specialised Nutrition clone
Plants: Micranthemum 'Monte Carlo”, Blyxa Japonica, Anubias barteri 'Petite', Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green', Hydrocotyle tripartita Japan, Christmas Moss, Alternanthera Reineckii 'Mini', Bucephalandra Biblis, Microsorum pteropus Trident, Pogostemon Helferi
It's early days and i'm slowly acimatising the existing fish into RO water from full tap water. One week in and no issues to report right now but also not seeing much growth. time will obviously tell!
Happy with the scape so far. Horrible large rock holding down the large wood which will go in a couple of weeks. Heres a rushed image for a queck view. Will get some proper ones shortly on the SLR.
