During a prolongued period of inactivity (otherwise known as skiving) I decided to read some rules on aquascaping competitions and I was very entrigued by the rules on sharing photos and updates of an entry that will be entering a competition.
What are your feelings on not being able to show photos when you intend to submit an entry into an aquascape competition?
Personally, I think its absolute rubbish. We do this for the love of seeing something breathtaking in our house, something to keep us occupied and more importantly, to share joy to those who view her (yes... tanks are women )
If i should take an example of another passion in my life: Football....
If people did not share their knowledge for others to see, how would the talented new youngsters come through and become the legends of yesteryear?
I undersatand the need for anti-cheating methods but would you say that not sharing a tanks progress is absolutly neccessary?
I for one would not concider entering a competition unless i had public aproval that it is worthy!
I hope this is taken in the was it was intended and not as a rant.
Look forward to your opinions!
