Hello from Lisbon|Portugal

Hi José,
30L total, true water it should be around 18/22L!

José i have no secrets.
I made my system inspired in some DIY reef foruns.
I have enhanced light power ( the main is a LFL-100S) over my big tank (Eheim 200l) with the exactly same system.
Take a look:

I don´t have photos on the Paralelo39N light system but i'll take to share.

I also have some conclusions:
In the big tank the extra light works perfectly.
It´s very punctual (35º) and with good deep penetration. I orient the bulbs into specific plants ( that need more light).
It also adds some extra dramatic look to the tank.
I'll change to 6500ºK bulbs and maybe with power adjustment (too much power i believe).

In the small tank (paralelo39N) is doesn't work so fine.
The color temperature is not correct (4500ºK) it should be 6500ºK.
It's to much power for a small tank, it should let power adjustment, and the angle is too low (it should spread more the light (60º) maybe with a diffuser.
I add two blue bulbs that make a huge effect.
The light stand should also be adjustable in height, this tank is very sensitive to every detail, its a real challenge!
I'm thinking in better solutions...

I use GU10 because it's the system that i have in my house (don't mind to have extra bulbs).
It's very simple to mount because it's uses normal electrical power, no need to adapt/calibrate transformers.
I could use T5 but i couldn't put the power where i want.
Cheers
tiago
