How long do you get out of a cylinder?

My next tank will hopefully be a high tech one but i was wandering how long your fe's last you?
I understand it varies from person to person but im just trying to get a rough gage
The tank is a little over 6 foot.

cant really help on a big tank my 40cm cube used 6kg in 1 year and my mates 120l uses 2 kg in 3-4months

Not very long in a big tank like that, I would go for a 5kg or bigger.

Yeh i was looking into larger cylinders although it would have to fit into my cabinet or another piece of furniture. A 5kg may fit but ill have to wait until i have it here to check If it will fit id like 2x 5kg with one plumbed into each filter, that way i can stagger refills
