Liquid carbon and ligts on

I have my lighting set to go on for a couple of hours in the morning and about 5hrs in the evening.
It's light isabout 1.3 w/gal.
I'm going to start using liquid carbon, and I know this is best added around the begining of the time lights go on.
If I add it when the lights go on in the evening, is this the an efficient combination of lighting period and liquid carbon, or is it worth doing something slightly different?

I use liquid carbon also. I add it at least an hour before the lights come on.

Liquid carbon has a life of about 24hours once in the tank, so dosing any time before lights on is fine.

So no merits for two periods of 4hrs and smaller doses before each?

I would dose the amount needed at the same time.

Im not sure what the difference would be dosing twice in 24hours. I cant see it being more or less beneficial.
