Coming back to this as the plastic body of the bubble counter cracked along the bottom. It was a 2 month old bubble counter that I only screwed in once and left there. Is there an alternative bubble counter I can use that fits CO2art's elite regulator? I don't think I can fit a co2 tube directly...

Yes I can also vouch for Jebaos, I have 2 (a 3k and 10k LPH) and have been serving me very well for 3 years, going 4 - with minimal maintenance, maybe once or twice a year

Yes this one is better and worth the £50 difference. I would stay away of CO2art, their dual stage pro elite is everything but.

Question: I tried that and in order to get the CO2 bubbles everywhere in the tank, i had to up the return pumps flow, and ended up with the water coming into the sump at a high speed creating a lot of O2 bubbles. Doesn't that remove the CO2?

I would prioritize over dual stage regulator because it will keep the pressure stable while your CO2 tank starts running low. Keep an eye on Black Friday, you might be able to get a dual stage reg for the price of a single stage one!

Mine needs refilling sooner. Maybe every week. CO2's bubble counter is a bad product, definitely not in line with a €220 reg, it is the weakest part of the entire set up.

I am not at all sure if I will ever get to a green drop checker with all that off gasing, let alone hitting green right before lights on... It's almost impossible to count bubbles after 7-8/sec so...

Also a lot of peeps like myself travel a lot (over 80% of a month) and usually have only weekends at home. Automated dosers help maintain a high tech tank, in the same way you don't manually turn on your lights or the co2 before lights on etc

I think the arc of the left hand side wood piece is a little unnatural, one would expect that in nature it would have fallen to its side. If you like it that way I would suggest you attach it to the root on the right so it looks like a branch.

Do you guys have experience with transparent lids like this one? I have one too and there is quite a bit of water droplets on in due to evaporation. How much light do these lids prevent from reaching the tank?

Amazon exotics ships wild caught fish, including Congo and Phenacogrammus aurantiacus "Lemon Congo Tetra" Lefini River. They quoted €50/piece for the latter which unfortunately it's out of my budget, but you guys that buy ADA soils and lights might be able to afford a school :)

Do you guys think there will be any issues if I swap out the 25mm flexible tubing that my DCP-10000 currently uses for a 16/22 there may be any issues (e.g. with pressure, pump damage, water flow)? Max pump output is 10,000 L/hr, I run it at 7,000 L/hr.

One other option would be the yellow fin Congo tetras but very expensive (~ 40 a piece); they go very well with regular Congos

Aggressive? Not at all. No fin nipping whatsoever, they sometimes steal the pellets from my corys though!. I find them very playful with their own species and super active.

I keep telling people to give the Cochu's Blue Tetra a shot. They are my personal favorite, they mate every single morning and are hyperactive throughout the day.

Yeah, exactly. All the professional aquascapers are pushing our budget beyond the limit. In terms of plant food a t8 isn't necessarily worse than a €400 led.
