I am wanting to grow a lot of Java fern. I have a 3ft tank with an internal filter and light. I know that its quite slow growing, but can I do anything else to help it along. Will it benefit from ferts. There are no fish in the tank and no substrate. The light is on for 8 hrs at present.

No. Theres only one Otto. The rest are Gouramis and tetras. I haven't seen anything on the leaves, unless its happening whilst the lights are out. Ive removed the ffected leaves and I'll see what happens next week.
