Received this plant this morning,they aren't sure what it is so was hoping someone on here may have an idea what it is before i plant it in my tank ,its roughly 30cm in height

Hi long time since i posted but i was wondering if anyone could help, My tank ph is 7.6 Tap water is 7.2 But when i filter it through my HMA filter i get a ph of 6?? I only checked the PH as i've lost a few shrimps recently and it was more often than not a few hours after i did a 50% water...

A quick update Had a bit of a play around think this looks better than how i had it,yes/no?? Been doing 80ltr water change every day cleaning the BGA but it seems to have slowed right down for now. Should i still be dosing ferts or not as i dont run C02,will the plants be getting enough...

Thanks George,thats some food for thought,the tank looks great,but i feel the crypts break the right side up so the small fish have somewhere to hide when the discus spwan and can be aggressive to them,dunno whether to just get some more crypts to fill it up more but the ones i've got dont grow...

I just cut them when they send out new stems,cut the actual stem part and replant it

For my blyxa i just left it to grow for a while then it starts send off new shoots sort of like a V shape all i do is cut one side off then replant that,its just like trimming a stem plant really.Hope that helps

In my discus tank 240ltr ive got a tetra tec ex1200 and 700 along with a hydor koralia 1 and they dont mind the flow(my biggest pair spawn about every 10 days now) but im no discus expert
