The easy way to "fix" it is to seal the top hole where the power cable goes, and seal the slider that increases and decreases the power. Make sure the slider is locked in the max flow before you seal it otherwise it barely moves water. Seriously guys shame on you for not noticing this the...

I had this issue mate, The reg sounds like its too tight on the bottle, loosen it up about a quarter a turn or even half and it will have loads more pressure! Edit: And yes i use "hose clips" to hold all my fittings on! even then i had a few teething leeks :D
