Unless your goal is breeding them, there will be no problem. For a low tech you don't need high amounts of ferts (there is fertilizing and there is EI);) so the rise in TDS will be 50-80max. Hardness of the water and pH, everything stays the same so fish don't care about it.

There is low tech and starving your plants and hoping for a miracle. You already know the answer to your question. Start fertilizing (still low tech) or starve your plants (low tech) ugly looking, lots of algae, high maintenance;)

It's not oxygenating at all! It produces O 2- ions not O2. Basically its oxidating your tank instead of oxygenating. Like adding H2O2 all day long or any other oxidator. Whether or not this will do anything I'm not really sure, ORP is a very controversial thing in the fresh water aquarium world...

When the CO2 is totally dissolved it does not go up. It just flows with the water. Undissolved bubbles do go up. I read a lot about removing the balls from the AM reactor on this forum. I use the same reacttor with bioballs but with a biopass, no problems here!
