Whats wrong with this tank? Scaping advice welcome!

a good technique is using a credit card to slide down the front of the substrate (typically were you find the BGA) to loosen and disrupt and then suck up the debris with your syphon hose.

Whats wrong with this tank? Scaping advice welcome!

Hello Only just read this and i can't help but feel that as well as looking at your dosing you need to consider your CO2. It sounds like you have good flow (or lots of it) but you say you are using a controller to maintain your CO2. (There are varied opinions about the success of these based...

Why can`t I grow Lilaeopsis Brasiliensis

LB is a difficult plant to grow well. When you say you "fail miserably" what does that mean, no growth? turns to mush? algae ridden? etc I suspect that you light intensity isn't sufficient to get the compact lawn effect. Also ensuring that there is sufficient flow over the lawn is important...

i would buy from TGM myself. Never seen plants wrapped so well and healthy! The 1-2 grow are a similar size pot but i have always found you get more dense growth in them. I would recommend them!

    Superglue Moss

I superglued the the moss to my manzi wood in my current scape, was easy to do. Just dont use super runny super glue. Did experience a very small amount of dieback on a few bits but the fresh growth soon took over. So easy! Andy

Hi The plant is defo Staurogyne, i had a similar problem to this. If you notice in your pics the older leaves are suffering. Mine linked to insufficient nutrient and CO2 flow i also dosed PO4 to help combat the problem. How long is your CO2 on for? and how is it delivered to the tank? I also...

    HC carpeting....not

I aint professing to be a HC guru! But with my experience you need to give it some time then once its started growing give it a good prune flat. This then encourages new growth and after a few week prune again and it should start carpeting. This has worked for me. (plus good light and CO2) Andy
