40x28x30 "The Ent" 30liters CLOSED

Hi there,

So my plan was to rescape my 60p and use this small 30liters tank as an temporary Home for my living stock during the rescape...BUT, I found that my lovely jungle Roots faits perfectly in there so...let's sell my livestock and scape this nano for an dragon betta! 🙂

Here's the Gear I will use:

Normal Glass 40x28x30cm tank, curves edges
JBL e901
Lily pipe spin
CO2 with CO2 art bazooka diffuser
Maybe eheim skim
ONF flat nano led
Tropica powder soil

Hardscape:
Jungle Roots
Aquaman pl ancient stones
Colorado Sand from Ada
Ada Aqua gravel S

Plants:

Hygrophila pinnitifida
Java Moss
Riccardia
Hydrocotyle SP mini
MMC
HM
Bucephalandra SP red
Anubia petite
Marsilea crenata
Rotala wallichii

If I wasn’t the wrong side of an ocean I’d collect those 😉

But so much easier when there’s no living creatures to worry over 🙂

Thanks alto, I will keep the shrimps but they won't be happy with the betta...Hence why I'm considering some ember Tetra instead for now. 🙂

The flat nano led will come tomorrow with the Sand and the soil, I've glued the Wood to the stones with cig filters, seems to work nicely.

For plants I'm considering a lot of epyphites , mosses and cryptocoryne because trimming stems in there will be a nightmare, can't wait to try
Callicostella prabaktiana on the Roots.

Here's my temporary setup holding my shrimps, otos , corydoras hastatus and plants 😉

Hi there,

So I got my equipment from aquasabi, and started to add soil, Colorado Sand and work on détails.

The ONF flat nano is nice looking but low powered so lots of shadow due to Wood on this scape, how I could grow buces in those areas.

Thanks, they are beautiful littles fishes but quiet expensive (about 12€ each in my lfs). 😕

Haha, thanks Tim, that's right!

Had to temporary add an skimmer because the Wood is leaching LOT of tannins and there is white scum on the water surface , Colorado Sand is making the water blurry....well with all that mess I've to do daily WC of 80%!

Pic during the WC, would look nice as an paludarium too isn't it? 🙂
