Looks bacterial to me,especially with those lips but odd that it's only the gourami showing signs of it. How are they normally in the tank,are they bullied at all by the other fish?

I'm all for giving fish a chance but those are almost at the point of no return poor things. Probably got a hefty burden of spironucleus and worms. Surprised they've got them on sale in that condition to be honest.

Agree with all @KirstyF said,with both a relatively new tank and new fish it can be difficult to pin down the cause. I would certainly get a test for both ammonia and nitrite to rule those out. Quite possibly moving the wood and disturbing the substrate could have caused a spike. What root tabs...

Definitely Cyano and the current warmer ambient temperatures won't be helping ime. Did you reuse the substrate when you moved the tank?

It's not going to be something you can really quarantine for as it can take months to show up and then some fish will just carry it and never show any outward symptoms. Stress is definitely a major factor in my opinion (that also goes for a lot of other fish diseases too) lowering the fishes...

Yes they do only deal in large orders but their prices are steep even for those I've been told.

With the symptoms they're presenting it's a distinct possibility but the only way to be certain is to have a histology done on one of the deceased fish but I'm guessing that's not really an option for you. Have you treated them for internal parasites at all as that's one of the easiest things...

Personally I don't like play sand but you could use it as they dig a lot so the usual problem of it compacting shouldn't really occur. I tend to use pool filter sand on most of my tanks but that's just my personal preference.

Every socket in my fish sheds is an RCD but I still unplug whenever I'm doing maintenance,it's a habit I don't wish to break.

Scottish cobbles are my favourite for using in tanks,they'll be fine for what you want :)

I'd say just shelldwellers,one of the less aggressive species such as Neolamprologus similis or multifasciatus. You'll need an outlet for the fry though as they'll just keep on breeding lol.

Do you know the dimensions of the tank because as far as I'm aware the Spec only comes in 10,19 or 60lts and it doesn't look big enough to be the 60lt but photos can be deceptive :)

Live bloodworm is pretty irresistible for them but best dropped in after lights off if you want to get them out to check the numbers.

The only fish I would possibly consider in a tank that size is one of the Indostomus species but the tank needs to be mature,low flow,densely planted and you'd need access to very small livefoods.

I'd also recommend a light which you can ramp up and down if you are going to do it as that's the biggest cause of them jumping.

I kept mine in an open top 350lt tank but the water level was dropped considerably,I wouldn't chance it unless you're prepared to do that.

Have to agree with @Conort2,cpds are of very poor quality these days and I won't keep them anymore because of this.

I've only had to deal with Saprolegnia once before,that was in some Medaka I moved outside a bit too early and we had a cold snap. Out of the 5 fish with it I managed to save all but the worst affected one by putting them in a tank of Methylene Blue solution but you can't use it your main tank...

Looks like Saprolegnia which will take down a weak/ill fish extremely quickly once it gets hold.

Green water is my go to for starting off the smallest of fry,full of microscopic life such as rotifers for them to feed on the on. I keep a few tubs out in the garden which I'll fill with old tank water and mulm then chuck a handful of hay into and leave to "ferment" as it were. Never used...

I used the 200 model on a 90lt tank and whilst the flow is reasonable it really didn't seem to pick up much detritus,it just accumulated around the base of the filter. The coarse sponges were always really clean but the fine one clogged very quickly.

Just pop some black tape over the glass up to the level of the substrate to block out the light. To be honest it's a pretty normal thing to have,or at least I find it is with a deeper substrate exposed to light.

Regarding the plants closing before lights out,is the tank anywhere near a window? I have a tank on a windowsill and the majority of the plants will follow their circadian rhythm if they're exposed to natural light regardless of the artificial light :)

Be prepared for high losses on the Crypts,especially at this time of year as they don't ship well at the best of times. It depends how well they package and how long it takes for them to get here....I've had past orders from Borneo a few years ago and losses ran at roughly 95%.

They have some pieces of clay pot to hide under,they're just removed for the photo :) I might try some IAL leaves now they're moving about but for the start they need to be kept in pretty much sterile conditions and must be kept on a mesh base.

Got a good sized spawn from one of the young pairs and I've managed to hatch around 26 this time which is a vast improvement on last time :)

What fry are they? To be honest setting up a tank for them and using an automatic feeder is very risky as little and often is key for rearing fry. I think they'd be better off taking their chances in the main tank.

I've always had excellent fish from The Fish Barn but due to distance I've had them couriered and in the past I've used Wildwoods :) Sweet Knowle also appear to have a good reputation.

Sounds like you've got some anaerobic issues,try poking a skewer into the substrate in places and see if any bubbles come out.

Any of the Myriophyllum species in the pond section would be suitable

I'd still leave them and see if they come back,Buce are really quite resilient plants. I personally don't use any glute based products in any tanks with livestock in and the reason I mentioned it was I wondered if perhaps you'd "burnt" the plants adding it into the water flow.

Don't give up on the Buce,so long as the bits of rhizome are still firm they will come back,it'll just take time....I've melted Buce right back before and it wasn't a problem :) You're not dosing any easycarbo/excel are you?

Camallanus are horrible things and a nightmare to have in a planted tank...thankfully I've never had to deal with it but it was enough seeing others with it to make me doubly sure I never had to and I used to use Harka Verm before NDX came out.

Apologies for seeing this and forgetting to reply @Wookii.....there is a paper which suggests Prazi might kill flagellates but I don't think there's any concrete evidence and I don't think Octocil will kill intestinal worms. I've just found the combo of NDX and then Octocil very effective at...

I've never had a problem using it with inverts and as far as I'm aware it breaks down pretty quickly in a tank. Wouldn't expect it to have much effect,if any, on NTD.

As a lot of my fish are sensitive to some medications it's usually esha NDX for worms and Manaus Aquariums Octocil for the flagellates.

I fear a lot of those Crypts won't do well with no carbonates and low nutrient levels. Regina is Silver Queen and it's not the easiest to grow in an aquarium in my experience although a few have managed it but not sure if it exactly thrives fully submerged.

They should be fine,you might just get some melting but if they're well established they might not. I forgot to switch the heater back on a plant tank in my shed for a couple of days (no livestock) and it went lower than that with just a few Crypts melting.
